Old Town Route
Unforgetable experience
Wherever you go and talk to the people you talk to and who have visited Ávila, they always remind you of the visit to the old town as something extraordinary.
What will we visit on this route?
We start from the Plaza de la Catedral and finish the tour in the same Plaza. This is a visit to stop, go shopping in old shops in the city and have a coffee with some yolks in La Flor de Castilla, or some stir-fried potatoes at snack time in an old tavern or a modern restaurant, which also there are.

RAINBOW ARCH
The door of the Trail was the last to be added to the wall. Its name comes from the Paseo, although it is also known as Puerta del Grajal or Puerta de la Estrella.
TRIP WALK
It owes its name to the municipal slaughterhouse or trail that existed until the end of the 16th century in the current Plaza del Rastro. From the Paseo a beautiful landscape is contemplated and its route shows us a unique panoramic view of the Abulense wall.
STREET OF DEATH AND LIFE
Narrow and overwhelming street, as if to get lost in it. It is also known as Calle de la Cruz Vieja. It borders the walls of the Cathedral. In it you can breathe a mysterious and legendary air, where confessions of love and duels were given in ancient times in the night of the city. At the end of the street, we are again in the Plaza de la Catedral, from where we start for this very interesting tour of the main streets of Avila in its old town.
